Welcome to Bayview Yacht Racing Association! Or BYRA for short.

We are a sailing and aquatic club located at beautiful Bayview on the southern shores of Pittwater Sydney.

Run entirely by volunteers, we aim to be the most fun, inclusive, and dynamic club on Pittwater, and we pride ourselves on our friendly club vibe and supportive culture. BYRA is more than sport. BYRA is community.

 We organise a range of activities that include:

• Tuesday Twilight keelboat racing
• Sunday centreboard racing
• Adventure sailing for those who love to explore with friends
• A range of Learn to Sail programmes for adults and kids that cater to a wide range of ages and abilities
• Various other events on and off the water

At BYRA, we cherish our club and its values. We believe in the power of community and always extend a warm welcome to new members.

If you'd like to just swing by BYRA for a face-to-face chat, there are normally regulars around the club on a Sunday from 12. Feel free to chat with anyone rigging in Riddle Reserve.

One common misperception we often hear is that 'sailing is expensive!'. It does not have to be - plenty of our members sail cheap old dinghies. We also have our social & water sports membership available for just $150 for the whole year!
