Welcome to the BYRA Induction Program!
Joining BYRA is more than just becoming a member - it’s about being part of a passionate sailing community. Our Induction Program is designed to help new members get familiar with the club, its facilities, safety protocols, and opportunities to get involved.
Through this program, you’ll learn how to navigate BYRA’s communication channels, access key resources, and understand important club policies. Whether you’re new to sailing or an experienced sailor, this induction ensures you have everything you need to make the most of your membership.
The BYRA Induction Program consists of two components:
1. Mandatory preparation: A self-study induction guide where you’ll learn how to navigate BYRA’s communication channels, access key resources, and understand important club policies. Whether you’re new to sailing or an experienced sailor, this induction ensures you have everything you need to make the most of your membership.
Read the induction guide before you attend the clubhouse walk-through. It will take about 10-15 minutes.
2. Clubhouse Walk-through: Here we'll show you practical things such as how to access the clubhouse, turn on/off water and lights etc. The tour will take place at the date/time you selected. The tour will take about 20-30 minutes.
