Roll up for the annual BYRA Lion Island Race, 75th edition! This event commemorates the race that started BYRA - click here to read about the epic between K.C. Dalton Esq. Skipper of the “Owen Davern”, and Cedric Williams Esq., Skipper of the “Christina” that took place in 1949. (Spoiler alert - Dalton won.)

Note - this is an event for auxiliary yachts only (non-spinnaker).

The race will commence at noon.

The course is around Lion Island and back (weather permitting).

All crews are welcome to BYRA after the race for the retelling of epic race tales, plus an optional BBQ dinner (separate charge - you can pay on the day!).
